Am I the only one who feels that the sun is going crazy these days? Global warming, of course. And these environmental issues are making us pay more attention to our skin health. So, don’t forget to wear sunscreen and re-apply when needed. I have a long list of sunscreens that I’ve used and this time I want to introduce a product.
Daily UV Defense Sunscreen (Broad Spectrum SPF 36) by Innisfree. This sunscreen with white tea and sunflower seeds oil is formulated without parabens, triclosan, gluten and is also vegan & cruelty free. Honestly, the first impression of using this product is: wow! Once applied, it feels light and just like a serum. It instantly absorbs and blends into the skin without that annoying sticky, white cast.
I use this sunscreen in my skincare routine and before makeup and I have to tell you that this sunscreen is very comfortable to use as a makeup base. The glowy finish of the sunscreen makes the skin and even makeup look healthy and hydrated. As for the scent, I smell a hint of fresh sunflower but in moderation, it’s not annoying. Honestly, my skin is sensitive and reacts quickly to new products but this sunscreen didn’t give me any reaction which means I’m good with it.
For those of you with darker skin I think this will suit you as it is colorless, and doesn’t leave a white cast. Also if my skin burns easily, sunscreen is for me. It really protects my skin from the sun, this sunscreen keeps it sunburned-free. Almost perfect performance for a sunscreen.
