There’s never a “good bye” between me and vanilla scent. When a new vanilla perfume is launched, I always want to try and immerse myself in it even though I already have a lot of vanilla perfumes on my makeup table. And the newcomer to my perfume collection is Vanilla Skin by Phlur.
From what I heard, this perfume is trending on social media, that’s why I didn’t want to miss the moment and immediately bought it. It’s clear from the name that this is a vanilla perfume with top notes: pink pepper, pink apple, sugar crystals. Heart: lily, jasmine petals, cashmere wood. Base: benzoin, vanilla, sandalwood, agarwood. Interesting notes that result in a rich fragrance. Spicy, fruity, floral and warm combined in one product. I think this perfume tends to be sensual, warm, a little feminine and maybe that’s why I like this perfume because it brings out my female side which makes me feel elegant and beautiful.
At the beginning of the spray, I can feel the graceful fragrance of warm flowers like a lover’s embrace, then over time it starts to feel integrated with the body and gives a “bare” impression. Perhaps this is the reason this perfume is called Vanilla Skin. Because over time it will feel like smelling a natural body scent just after bathing of course with a touch of creamy vanilla and the warmth of musk that complements the vanilla.
For longevity, I’ll be honest, I think it’s decent. In the middle. It doesn’t wear off quickly, but it doesn’t last all day either. Let me make it short, Vanilla Skin is a perfume that can be worn anytime. Meeting friends? Going on a date? Take a leisurely stroll? Work? Everyone can. And it will also make you always happy and feel like you’re in love.
