As a woman with dry skin, I really need to re-apply body butter to get lasting hydration. That’s why I tried Josie Maran’s body butter. This is a full-body moisturizer, air-whipped body butter in a refillable jar. The texture is very creamy like butter that melts on the skin and glides on smoothly.
Even though it’s very creamy and hydrating, there is absolutely no sticky and sultry feeling when using this body butter. It sinks in so quickly, there’s no need to wait for it to blend into the skin. The end result is glowing, baby-soft skin. I can’t stop touching my own skin.
While using this body butter, I don’t have to re-apply, because the hydration lasts all day and even all night with just one use. With a pleasant scent of soft vanilla with key notes of vanilla bean and juniper berries. It’s a warm gourmand vanilla scent but it doesn’t choke the nose because it’s very mild.
Cruelty-free, paraben-free, gluten-free, vegan and with a “clean & planet aware” spirit is a plus for this product. The jar is also reusable, because you can buy the refill product. Overall, a simple yet memorable body butter. I’m obsessed!
