It’s been a while since I’ve written about perfumes even though I’ve tried a lot of perfumes lately. So this time I would like to share my opinion about a perfume that is memorable for me at the moment, Rose Gourmand by Zara. This perfume is very memorable because even from the name, it fits my style.
An interesting perfume with a unique blend of two of my favorite elements of a perfume, namely flowers and gourmand. The packaging explains that this perfume is feminine and empowered. It comes in a sturdy and luxurious-looking 80ML glass bottle, which is a lot for the price.
Back to the scent which I think smells like heaven, seriously! Maybe it’s because this is a scent that suits my style so it’s almost perfect. With a blend of carnation, jasmine, peony and of course rose for the floral notes. Then there’s a touch of creamy caramel gourmand from the vanilla that’s not overwhelming but not lacking either.
At the beginning of the spray, the strong scent of flowers spoiled my sense of smell making me feel like I was in a fairytale flower garden, very classy and elegant. Then the pleasant scent starts to come out from the vanilla which I think is a soft type of vanilla. It feels like I’m in a warm and fragrant bakery.
The combination makes for a heavenly fragrance. Soft, warm and really sweet. I think it’s suitable for daily activities. Most of the time, I wear this perfume to meet friends, go out or on vacation because it smells casual to me. It is an eau de parfum so I find it lasts for hours on clothes and skin. I give this perfume from Zara a big thumbs up. It doesn’t disappoint.
