I have very dry and brittle hair. They are not as badly damaged since I don’t use heat on my hair, but it’s mostly carelessness that has caused my hair to be this way. They are now very frizzy and unmanageable. So I am always on the lookout for shampoos and conditioners that specialize in moisturizing hair, as I believe that moisturizing reduces friction between hair, so hair is easier to style and not tangle.
I chose Nexxus Humectress Ultimate Moisture conditioner and it comes in a bottle with an openable cap. It has a thick viscosity and flows out of the bottle in clumps. It is not shimmery, but rather translucent. Because of its clumpy formula, it can be difficult to get it out of the bottle. The smell of this conditioner is quite pleasant, I really enjoyed the scent in the shower. It is very floral and sweet at the same time. There is a hint of chocolate, but overall the scent is very pleasant.
I really like the Nexxus Humectress Ultimate Moisture conditioner. Even though it is quite thick, it was easy to spread through my damp hair. I was able to evenly coat all of my hair with it. It was also easy to wash out as the conditioner didn’t leave a residue and wasn’t slippery like some other conditioners. So I really liked this part of this conditioner. When my hair was dry, it was very smooth and silky, and since I judge hydration by those two factors, I would say that this conditioner did its job of moisturizing my hair. After using the Nexxus Humectress Ultimate Moisture conditioner, my hair didn’t frizz for the next day. I wouldn’t say there was much shine, but since I straighten my hair and my straightener gives shine to my hair, I would say it worked well.
Overall, I am impressed with this conditioner. I would recommend it to anyone with curly dry hair.
