My son sleeps incredibly well in his Halo Sleep Swaddles. When he was born during the colder months, the fleece ones were a lifesaver. However, now that it’s getting warmer, I needed something lighter. I decided to try the Halo Cotton Swaddle Sleepsack 1.5 TOG along with a different brand that was half the price.
After washing both swaddles, I quickly realized the value of investing in the Halo brand. The convenience of being able to dry the Halo Sleepsack in the dryer on low/gentle setting was a game-changer. Although it takes about 1.5 hours or sometimes longer to dry, it’s absolutely worth it. On the other hand, the cheaper alternative required air drying and to my disappointment, the zipper was broken right out of the box. I now have to go through the hassle of returning it.
What’s even scarier is that as I was putting my son down in the other brand for the first time, the zipper unexpectedly came off at the top, dangerously close to his mouth. If it had broken during the night, it could have posed a serious risk. This incident made me realize that when it comes to baby products, you truly get what you pay for.
From now on, I will only be purchasing Halo Sleep Swaddles. They offer not only peace of mind but also superior quality. And let’s not forget, my son has a funny habit of sleeping in the bottom corner of his bassinet. With the Halo Cotton Swaddle Sleepsack 1.5 TOG, he stays cozy and comfortable throughout the night, ensuring a sound sleep for both him and me.
