I wanted to share my opinion on “Juvia’s The Taupes Eyeshadow Palette” that I purchased. When I first opened this palette and did swatches, I was a little disappointed. At first glance, the shades didn’t seem too interesting and the texture and pigmentation didn’t impress me. I even thought that I wouldn’t be able to create beautiful makeup looks with it.
However, I was wrong! Now I am just in love with this palette and don’t want to let it out of my hands. It turned out to be comfortable and beautiful. It only has 6 shades – 3 matte and 3 shimmery, but that doesn’t stop it from being versatile.
What particularly struck me was its fine texture, which is even a bit silicone-like. Honestly, I don’t have an analogy of this texture among other brands. It has an incredibly smooth effect, and I think that makes it perfect even for age skin.
I was also pleasantly surprised by the beautiful shade in the middle of the top row, which shimmers from blue to lilac to silver. I often apply it solo to create a wet effect.
I also noticed that on my tanned face, the two matte center shades are slightly lighter than the sculptor on the swatch. I usually use this palette for quick everyday makeup looks – it only takes me about 10-15 minutes to apply. However, it’s also great for creating more intense looks, especially using the radiant shades from the palette.
To maximize the staying power and vibrancy of my shades, I use a shadow base. This allows shimmery shades to shimmer even more colorfully and matte shades to stand out better.
I was pleasantly surprised by the staying power of the shadows – they don’t roll off or fall off, even on my medium-sized eyelids. I’m sure they’ll last just as well even on oily skin.
“Juvia’s The Taupes Eyeshadow Palette” has proven to be the perfect choice for both everyday makeup and evening looks. I’m glad I gave it a chance and it has now become one of my favorites.
