A classic, creamy satin lipstick with a soft sheen

SUPERSATIN LIPSTICK from MAKEUP by MARIO for Satin Girly!

At my age, there aren’t many things that get my heart racing. Love? Not really. It’s just a delivery package from online shopping that finally arrived home that makes my heart skip a beat every time lol.

So, I just received a package that I’ve been waiting for a long time. Because as a woman I love to dress up, add blush on my cheeks, make my lips look cute, draw my eyebrows perfectly so I really love makeup shopping. But, honestly if there’s one makeup item that I would choose and be the most important thing it would be lipstick. I really can’t live without pretty and colorful lips.

Let’s get back to the package!

What’s in the package? Inside is a lipstick that I’ve been dying to try. Yup, it’s the SUPERSATIN LIPSTICK from Makeup by. Mario! Finally! I tried it right away of course. And you know what? My first impression was very good.

Let’s start with the packaging, it’s simple with a size that fits in your bag and won’t take up much space. The color of the packaging is black, with a magnetic closure so you won’t lose it like you lost your ex-boyfriend hehe.

This lipstick is a creamy, satin classic with a soft sheen. Claimed to be paraben-free, with wearable color. With 18 shades for the pinks, nudes, berries, reds, peaches/oranges. Then, the texture. This lipstick has a creamy texture, and is light when applied on the lips. Even in the first swipe this lipstick already shows its beauty. For its own durability according to my personal use, this lipstick is like satin lipsticks in general. So I need to touch up again.

And sist, what about the shades? As I’ve written before they claim that the shades are wearable. Of course you can adjust to your skin tone before buying. I tried some shades like “Uptown Girl” and it has a coral undertone, personally this is my color. And there’s “Bronx Baby” which claims to have a soft and slightly warm rose color. And I agree! It’s not really soft, there’s a hint of firmness amidst the softness of the rose. And for those who love paleness, there’s “Southsore” with a touch of pinkish nude. For those of you who like the Korean ombre lipstick style, this shade can be a base. And still from the nude family, there is the shade “Flat Iron” which gives the impression of nude, beige but warm. Suitable for those of you who don’t want to look like a sick person. And like the initial claim the shades are totally wearable.

Personally, as a woman who rarely uses satin lipstick, I like this lipstick. The creamy but not heavy texture, the smooth finish and the pretty shades recommend this lipstick for everyday use, at around $28 I think it’s worth it.
