I’ve been using the Sambonet Titan Pro non-stick Pan with lid diam. 24 cm for the last several weeks, and my first impression upon picking it up was its substantial weight for the size. It certainly looks and feels as though it’s durable and is made to last!
The non-stick coating itself is also meant to be safe, containing no PFOA, lead or cadmium, and is meant to last 6 times longer than the standard non-stick coating – only time will tell about the durability of the coating.
The Sambonet Titan Pro non-stick Pan has been designed to work with all types of kitchen hobs, including induction and ceramic, gas. With an ultra-flat bottom to offer strength and stability during use and perfect for quick and uniform cooking of various culinary preparations with the advantage of having a scratch-resistant.
In use, the pan itself takes a little longer to heat than other non-stick fry pans that I have used in the past but, given the more robust construction, that’s no real surprise. It cooks as well as you would expect from Sambonet products, and the non-stick coating does an effective job in the post-cooking clean-up, leaving no embedded residue after a moderate wipe down.
Good thing, the handle remains cool to the touch when used for stove top cooking, and its size and shape is comfortable during cooking.
Would I recommend the Sambonet Titan Pro non-stick Pan? Absolutely!
If the coating is as durable as claimed, then you will be delighted cooking with this fry pan for at least several years. Happy cooking.
