Am I the only one who is getting older and simplifying things? I don’t have the energy to be extra anymore. That also applies to my daily makeup style, I’m getting more and more into natural makeup, they call it the “no makeup” makeup look. And I really do live up to the name, as concise and simple as possible.
What’s the most important thing? Of course the complexion. A light complexion but with good coverage, the term is “my skin but better”. To make that happen, I chose (finally) one special product. Laura Mercier Real Flawless Foundation! Where have I been all this time? I just found out about this product. Lol caveman.
Why am I crazy about this foundation? First, it’s not just a makeup but also a skincare that provides care for the skin. With camelia seed, vitamin E, etc, this product protects the skin from damage caused by environmental and blue light stressors. I can feel my skin calmer and the color starts to even out naturally.
Secondly, the performance of this product. Amazing! Impressive! I’m not going to lie, this is a review that comes from pure happiness. The texture is liquid, for my dry skin it’s perfect, it’s a lightweight foundation but very buildable, easy to blend using tools and even fingers. What I feel when I apply this product on my face is that it’s lightweight and doesn’t torture my skin at all.
Third, the shades! This product has 30 shades which will definitely meet your skin tone needs. The perfect shade for me is the “cashmere” shade. I’m so happy when it’s time for makeup. How about the longevity? For me working in an air-conditioned room, this foundation works for me for 7 hours, maybe? And it makes me comfortable that I don’t need to touch-up too often.
It really makes me look like a clean girl who was born naturally beautiful effortlessly. As I wrote earlier realizing my dream of having a “my skin but better” look.
