Living in a semi-rural area, we often have annoying flying gnats infiltrating our home. I’ve tried various methods like vinegar jars, but they only provide partial relief. That’s when I came across an advertisement for the Zevo trap and decided to give it a try.
Before using the trap, I read the instructions carefully. It’s simple to set up: remove the refill from the back of the trap, peel off the backing, and slide it back into position. Then, just plug it into an indoor electrical outlet. I placed it near our sliding glass door, where fruit flies tend to gather.
When I plugged it in, a pleasant blue light illuminated, acting as a night light as well. It looked promising, and I was excited to see if it would catch the bugs. I plan to check it in about 10 to 15 days and update you on its effectiveness.
Fast forward a couple of weeks, and I’m pleased with the results. The Zevo trap has caught a moth and several gnats, proving its efficiency. While it may not be completely full yet, it has made a noticeable difference. I purchased some refills, although they can be a bit pricey, around $6.99 to $10 for a pack of two.
The refill process is straightforward. Just pull off the backing when you’re ready to use a new one, and slide it into the trap. The blue light will indicate that it’s ready to catch more bugs. It’s important to note that the trap doesn’t use chemical insecticides but rather permanently traps the insects.
Overall, I highly recommend the Zevo Flying Insect Trap. It has helped us tackle the pesky gnats and flies in our home. If you’re struggling with similar issues, give it a try.
