Forrest Gump once said “You can tell a lot about a person by their shoes, where they going, where they been” yes, shoes can go that deep. And I agree. That’s why shoes are important from all aspects from utility, comfort to fashion. At least for me, those are the things I want to find in a pair of shoes. In addition, some people may also need shoes that can portray their social status.
In my search for shoes that can make these things happen, I was finally met with shoes from Adidas, from the Handball Spezial Shoes series. I would like to praise this shoe as I would praise my beloved because I fell in love at the first sight. So here’s my experience with these shoes:
Let’s start with the first thing we always judge which is looks. Like I said I fell in love at first sight when I saw the blue Handball Spezial Shoes, they call it Core Blue on the Adidas website. The blue color tends to be denim with white stripes on each side. These shoes were originally released in the 70’s so the retro vibe really comes through.
With a synthetic upper and textile lining, this shoe feels lightweight even though it looks thick and sturdy. And of course breathable, it won’t make your feet suffer during use. Meanwhile, the rubber outsole offers essential traction for quick cuts and crossovers during urban adventures.
Available in many colors such as black, blue, olive, maroon and many more. Personally, I feel that this shoe is better than the Samba series, which is also currently trending. I think, as the name “Spezial” implies, it really has a special place in my heart.
