I’ve always been someone who prefers to let my brows be. Clear brow gel has been my go-to, as I can’t stand the look of overly intense pencils or crunchy pomades. I truly appreciate the soft, natural feel of my brows, and they usually don’t require much filling in to appear full.

However, over the years, I’ve tried my fair share of brow products, and only the ones that meet my standards make the cut. My preference is for thick, natural-looking brows, and I only schedule appointments to have them touched up when they’ve lost their arch, which is about every two months. In between, I simply pluck stray hairs and trim as best I can. My brows have a knack for growing rapidly.

I don’t use a ton of product on my brows since there isn’t much to fill in. My brows also have an interesting color situation: half of them are brown, while the mid-lengths to ends are blonde and almost invisible. This is why using a pomade doesn’t work for me; it tends to make me look a bit too dramatic. I usually lightly fill in my brows towards the front and extend the tail slightly with a taupe or light blonde pencil.

Now, let me tell you about the Victoria Beckham BabyBlade Brow Pencil. It’s almost like magic. I’m convinced you could apply it with your eyes closed, and your brows would still turn out exactly as you intended. When I used this pencil, there was no particular strategy to the tiny strokes I made–I filled in where it made sense, gently swiping from the bottom of my brow up and out. I started by brushing my brows upward with the spoolie end of the pencil, ensuring they were nicely fanned in the front and the tail had a natural spread.

My biggest concern was how much pressure I’d need to apply. I’ve used hard, waxy pencils before with minimal color payoff, so I’ve had to press really hard, which can irritate my skin. Some pencils even feel like they’re scraping across my brow, which is far from pleasant. However, I was pleasantly surprised by how creamy and soft the Victoria Beckham BabyBlade Brow Pencil was.

In essence, it’s become my go-to brow pencil for effortlessly achieving the natural, soft look I adore. If you appreciate your brows’ natural beauty and want an easy, effective tool to enhance them, this pencil might just be your new best friend! ????
